Organic seoWhen and how to employ Organic seo.

When clients have spent thousands of pounds on a new all singing amd dancing website and some time later still wonder why they do not have the traffic they would like, it is at this point that desperation takes over and they start to employ less than orthodox methods of getting improved search result to get more web traffic, more ofthen than not, this proves to be a short term solution to a long term problem.

With over 90% of traffic coming from search engines, and a large percentage of those not clicking past page one, getting onto the illusive Page #1 of Google or even more illusive position #1, can be frustrating. It may feel impossible if they are in a largely saturated market dominated by the large corporates. However the traffic generated from these pages makes a targeted Organic SEO campaign viable if your pages have some traffic and are converting. If this is the case you have a good chance of obtaining and increase in traffic and conversions at which point it can be highly profitable. It is for this reason why many business and corporate spend huge sums of money on PPC, the traffic and resultant conversion can offer a good ROI. We know that most people (up to 80%) never get past page two on the Google serps, this is why an organic seo campaign should ideally get your serp positioning to a page one result.

Whilst most seo practitioners know that there are quick methods to get traffic to your site without reverting to borderline blackhat techniques, Organic seo can take a little time and money, but ultimately it is about setting out to achieve natural set of results that last for a long time. These are created by having sufficient high quality content and value that others find appealing enough to create links back to your site to the content. This content, links and results will last long time, normally well after the last bought advert has lapsed. Undertaking "Organic SEO" also means that by and large we will not undertake anything that could give rise to a manual penalty
But what are people perceptions and understanding of what "Organic SEO" is,  let us have a quick look at what else is written on Wikipedia, here we are told that;
Search engine optimisation (as unbiased as what we could expect) or SEO is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's unpaid results - often referred to as "natural," "organic," or "earned" results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users.
Organic seo is about creating selective, semantically correct and inormative content that answers questions and will engage with people and not relying of black hat SEO techniques. They will then share with others and link to other social media platforms, this will help in building a strong technical foundation for your web platform, do the keyword research and create your content around them, find your knock-out images that are eye-catching and memorable. Publicise the content on Social Media platforms massively, get onto forums and areas of the web that will generate traffic, and then do the same with the content again, and again, and again so that your content and site is growing "organically", becoming a resource for others to find what they see as valuable information, products and services and one that they will return to.

ROI - Organic seo is an investment, not an expense!

What Organic SEO is NOT

Organic seo is not about mass, low quality articles which generate poor if any linking, door pages, link baiting, keyword stuffing, jquery trick scripts (Google can now read these as long as they do not require a manual action), search engine readable content at the expense of the human readers, they are after all the people that will be spending money on your products or services Etc, the list is long and and can somewhat arduous and gruesome (and sometimes rule breaking on Google and could result in a penalty).
